The evidence is overwhelming.
Nico is a loser. The evidence is overwhelming.
Instead of going to San Francisco for a fun time drinking, carousing, and hooking up with multitudes of men for massive sex at Folsom, he instead stayed home that day puttering around the house, reading and watching old movies on TV, while his husband took nekkid photos of clients, so that said clients could use the photos online to assist in their efforts to carouse and hook up with multitudes of men for massive sex.
He continually fails to see the threat that the risk of legalized same gender marriage holds to �traditional*� straight marriage, when it is so blatantly obvious to rest of the nation that an entire week has been set aside to protect the endangered institution.
It�s been well over a year since his last hair cut which makes him look like one of the sad straight slobs before the queer eye queers get their hands on them. Sadly, the hair is not a failed attempt at fashion, but rather the inevitable result of laziness and follicle neglect.
When he watched Lost in Translation, he was about the only person in the theater desperately hoping that Bill Murray's character would not have an affair with Scarlett Johansson�s.
While watching an episode of Queer Eye, he became terribly distracted when the �grooming queer� told the straight victim to use a skim cream containing vitamin C, because as an antioxidant it would help keep his skin from aging. Upon hearing this, Nico went on a ten minute rant wondering how the heck an external topical application of Vitamin C is supposed to eliminate free radicals inside of skin cells?
When a group of friends get together and decide to see a movie, nico is the one who is uninterested in the big budget, shoot �em up blockbuster of the moment, and who would rather see some weird, small, foreign, subtitled �FILM �**.
He shakes his head sadly whenever he sees a certain TV commercial in which two women in a fantasy parking lot with no compact spaces and parking spots wide enough to easily fit huge SUV�s that they are busy loading with tons and tons of booty that they just bought on sale at a wondrous retail chain store sale, proceed to belittle and jeer a woman who drives up in a small, compact, fuel efficient car, because the small car woman has failed to learn that true happiness only comes with mind numbing excess and the nonstop accumulation of material goods.
Despite viewing himself as a fairly moderate �liberalish� person, he is in actuality blatant, crazed, leftist, commie, pinko scum as evidenced by his continually voting for people, efforts, and causes which continually fail, and against people, efforts, and causes which continually succeed. Even when he does rarely find himself glad for the outcome of an election, such as the recent defeat of a proposition which would have made it illegal for the government to collect information on cases of discrimination as the best way to eliminate discrimination***, he just can�t be wise enough to be happy.
No, instead as his coworkers and random people on the street congratulate each other on their success in electing an actor as governor, nico finds himself wondering just how screwed up things are going to get when it becomes clear that no matter how supposedly bloated the state government may be, it is not likely that an audit will produce several dozen billion dollars out of thin air, and the guaranty of no new taxes + no elimination of services will be shown to be an impossible and ultimately empty promise.
No, instead he wonders when it will become common knowledge that Mr. Terminator has publicly stated that he would not have signed the recent state domestic partnership legislation, since in conversation with some gay men who voted for the actor, the men told nico he was wrong and just passing along democrat propaganda (such as the actor�s behavior towards women) because Mr. Terminator is obviously progay. He told us so.
No, instead of accepting the joy that comes from being part of masses, part of the crowd, part of the gang, nico seems to be doomed to be an outsider, and as we know, outsiders are not to be trusted.
I am not a happy man, and thus, I am loser.

*yes, I am once again using the term traditional marriage facetiously, since American culture�s current definition of marriage as an act of love and commitment between two people is a relatively recent one, and a traditional marriage would actually be viewed in modern terms more accurately as a business arrangement between two families, strengthening their social and economic ties and allowing the father of the bride to get rid of a relatively worthless commodity (in other words, the daughter who did not have the good sense to be born a boy and is merely a burden since she cannot carry on the family name or take over the family business).

***not really that big a victory for the left. Analysts believe that prop 54, failed because the antiprop 54 people were successful in showing that it would have negatively impacted public health (by eliminating tracking of relationships between risks of disease and race/ethnicity), not because of it�s ostrich with it�s head in the sand �If I can�t see it, it doesn�t exist� attitude towards discrimination.
